1. What We Collect

Wyred collects the minimum data needed to provide you with personalized insights:

  • Birth data: Name, date of birth, birth time (optional), and birth city for you and the people in your circle. This is used to calculate numerology, astrology, and Human Design profiles.
  • Anonymous device identifier: A randomly generated UUID stored on your device. We use this to distinguish users for analytics. It is not linked to your identity.
  • Email address (optional): Only if you choose to provide it during onboarding. Used for product updates.
  • Chat messages: Conversations with the Wyred AI are processed to generate responses. Messages are not stored on our servers beyond the active session.
  • Subscription status: Whether you have an active premium subscription, managed through Apple's in-app purchase system.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Generate personalized numerology, astrology, and Human Design profiles
  • Calculate relationship dynamics between people in your circle
  • Provide AI-powered chat insights about your personality and relationships
  • Generate daily guidance and weekly outlooks
  • Improve the app experience through anonymous usage analytics

3. Third-Party Services

Wyred uses the following third-party services:

  • Google Gemini API: For generating daily guidance and relationship insights. Birth data is sent to generate personalized content.
  • Anthropic Claude API: For generating full personality profiles and powering the chat feature.
  • RevenueCat: For managing subscriptions. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID.
  • Supabase: For storing pre-generated guidance content and anonymous user profiles.

We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your birth data, chat history, and relationship information are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Chat message content is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored on our servers. Pre-generated daily guidance is stored in our database keyed by an anonymous identifier.

Server-side profile cache. After each successful AI profile generation, we keep a copy of the generated profile JSON on our servers (Supabase, EU region in Ireland), keyed by a SHA-256 hash of your birth identity. This lets us restore your profile silently if your phone disconnects mid-generation. Cached profiles are kept while the current AI prompt version applies and are deleted by a nightly job when we update the prompt, when you tap Settings → Clear All Data inside the app, or when you email us at hello@wyred.app.

Chat usage counter. We count your monthly chat message usage on our servers, keyed by an anonymous device identifier, to enforce the 750-message premium cap. The count resets at the start of each calendar month and is never linked to your name, email, or birth data. The anonymous identifier is signed by our backend so the count cannot be tampered with by a modified client. We do not store chat message content alongside the count.

5. Your Rights

  • Tap Settings → Clear All Data inside the app to wipe local data AND any server-side cached profiles tied to your circle
  • Delete the app to remove all local data; for server-side cache deletion in this case, email us
  • You can use the app without providing an email address

6. Children

Wyred is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
